After the approval of LongAP by the Helium community as an official Helium manufacturer at the 14th of April we have been working hard on getting our first hotspot, LongAP One, in your hands. Not only have we implemented all the required components to let our LongAP One function as a fully functional hotspot within the Helium network, we also have done extensive testing to ensure that our LongAP One works reliably with IoT-devices, other gateways and different networking-setups. Additionally we have build extra tooling to help you monitor the status of your LongAP One hotspot and to shorten the time needed to sync.Today, 36 days after being approved, we are happy to announce that we are now in the final steps of preparing LongAP One for sale! We have always aimed for late May, however, due to a bug in the firmware of our devices, we need a week or two extra to update the firmware of our devices. We expect to accept orders in the first few days of June with direct shipping (from stock) from the EU. The exact date and time of sale will be announced.
A few important things to remember:
- LongAP One is CE certified, this allows it to be sold and used within most countries in Europe. Sadly we are unable to support other areas for LongAP One.
- We will limit orders to max. 5 LongAP One’s per customer
- You will be able to pay with credit-card and European payment solutions (iDeal, Bancontact, SOFORT, GiroPay, EPS).
- We will ship with UPS, pick-ups are not possible.
