We at Parley Labs pride ourselves on being 100% transparent to our customers, a company by the people for the people, so to speak. With that said, we would like to provide you with the most current update as we’ve received them from our vendor, Nebra.

Additionally, we want to let you know that our team is actively working to resolve the issue at hand as well as providing you with alternative options in the future. Lastly, we would like to address some of the rumors that have been circulating on different social media forums about Parley Labs business practices because we want to ensure you feel comfortable & confident in your decision in trusting us!

Batch 1: We were told Nebra is working with their manufacturer to identify when the remainder of Batch 1 will ship. We are still awaiting a response on this.

Batch 2: We have been told that 2,000 units have left the factory, and that 4,000 units are near completion. We currently are awaiting Nebra to let us know how many of those units are for us, but have no confirmation yet.

Batch 3: In the Nebra discord channel on 6/17 we were made aware that 12,000 PCBAs (printed circuit board assembly) for the indoor units finished production. Final assembly and packaging was to start on 6/18. These units represent batches 2 and some of 3. Currently we do not have confirmation on shipment dates of Batch 3.

Batch 4: Nebra says they are scaling production, so with no new updates given to us regarding this batch we cannot provide a good estimate at this time.

Batch 5: Estimated delivery times of batch 5 are still at the end of Q3.

Outdoors Units – Batch 1 & 2: From the Nebra Channel we have been made aware that on 6/17 6,500 PCBA (printed circuit board assembly) of outdoor units finished production. Final assembly and packaging was to start on 6/18. We are told that the testing has been completed, the paperwork has been drafted and submitted and we are awaiting official documentation.

Now comes the news on what Parley Labs have been working on to continue to advocate for our customers. Our CEO Bryan has been in talks with other manufacturers who are willing and eager to help us offer a positive experience for our customers. While negotiations are still in the works, we would like you to know that you will have options! We value our relationship with Nebra, but want to expand offerings to give our customers more choices. The Helium Community truly is an amazing place! If you would like to see us carry or support any other vendor, let them know!

Lastly, let’s dive into those interesting rumors that have been going around about Parley Labs. First, there have been comments made that we took customer’s money and are living large while not delivering your orders. We can assure you that is not the case. Did you know that Parley Labs is considered a crypto adjacent company. Being in the business of selling crypto adjacent hardware, the biggest challenge becomes credit card processing, which is why you don’t see many others able to accept cards. We pride ourselves in the relationships we’ve built with our merchants. Because of that we treat our obligations very seriously and all unfulfilled orders are obligations. Funds related to this are treated as such and are not ours to spend. It is in our best interest to fulfill as many orders as possible by having it delivered to you.

Second, another rumor is that we are deploying all of the miners ourselves. If we had the miners we would have shipped them out. As you’ve seen previously it is in our best interest to do so. You can see from the Helium Explorer exactly how many devices have been onboarded and their locations. In the spirit of full transparency, we have 1 Nebra miner at the office and a handful of OG Helium miners that were purchased by our CEO.

Fun fact: that’s how Parley Labs came to be what it is today. Bryan purchased an OG Helium miner, then noticed people needed add-on products so he purchased them in bulk to help reduce delivery times (people were waiting 4-5 weeks). It then morphed into what we have today.
