Please beware of such scam sites. To purchase a Hotspot, or download Helium official App , make sure to verify the website address you’re purchasing from or downloaded from.

The above list is of all the scammers and scalpers and fake wallet confirmation sites reported across many vendor discords in the last few months; Scammers are defined as a place where you order something and will never receive it and scalpers are defined as a place where you will pay a lot more than you should to receive it. Fake sites are those pretending to be someone else, Many are marked just Scam as the website is down at the moment but its there as the website could come back.
Clues on spotting new scammers DO YOUR OWN DILIGENCE:
They often only take bitcoin/cryptos – bobcat only take USDC on the ERC20 network, Bobcat do not take Bitcoin
They offer discounts below the manufactures price – when eBay prices are 2x-3x manufactures prices
They have everything in stock or do not mention if its in stock – anyone offering the LongAP One in stock is a scammer as this model is discontinued and all stock is online.
The office is a mailbox address – google the address and see how many more companies are at that address
The office is a home address – see google maps
Website banner name is different to company name in company address
Office is in one country (eg UK), sales are for another region (eg US) and a telephone number is yet another country (Eg China) – check country codes
Only gmail, web forms or mobile numbers for contact – any trustworthy company should have an email address with the domain name of the website or company name
Check that all the contact us, refund info, legal info at the bottom of the page are consistent with who they say they are.
And NEVER tell anyone your 12 words or enter them at any website. The only places to type in your 12 words are in the Helium Wallet Phone App or Vendor apps announced from their official channels. And make sure you have them written down before you reinstall the App.
